Clusters Explained
A cluster is the bot’s answer to “what if multiple of my tracked wallets are buying the same thing right now?” Instead of getting N separate buy alerts, you get one consolidated alert listing every wallet that joined in.
How a cluster fires
Section titled “How a cluster fires”A cluster alert fires when:
- N or more wallets you track buy the same token
- Within a time window you set
- On the same chain (EVM clusters and Solana clusters are separate by design)
Defaults at signup:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Minimum wallets | 2 |
| Time window | 1,440 minutes (24 hours) |
| Mode | both |
| Style | 2 |
You can change all of these in the dashboard’s Cluster Alerts page. EVM and Solana have independent thresholds, windows, and modes — so you can run a tighter window on Solana without affecting EVM detection.
The first time the threshold is hit, the cluster alert sends. If a new wallet later joins the cluster (within the same window, on the same token), another alert fires reflecting the updated wallet list. Repeat buys from a wallet already in the cluster don’t trigger another alert.
The two modes
Section titled “The two modes”cluster_mode (with separate evm_cluster_mode and solana_cluster_mode) controls how clusters interact with your individual buy alerts:
| Mode | What you get |
|---|---|
both (default) | Individual buy alert + cluster alert when threshold hits. Maximum signal. |
clusters_only | Individual buy alerts are suppressed. You only see the cluster alert. Quieter feed. |
clusters_only is the right choice if you track 50+ wallets and find single-wallet buys too noisy — you only get pinged when something multi-wallet is forming. Note that every individual buy is suppressed in this mode, including buys that never become clusters.
Cluster alert anatomy
Section titled “Cluster alert anatomy”The default style (Style 2) shows each wallet with its current holding status — diamond, partial, or sold:
🔷 PEPE | Cluster | 4 Wallets
💎 Vitalik · 2.5 ETH · MC $890K ⤷ Total: 2.5 ETH · Avg MC $890K · 100%📉 Cobie · 0.8 ETH · MC $1.1M ⤷ Total: 1.4 ETH · Avg MC $980K · 60%🔻 Hsaka · 1.2 ETH · MC $1.4M ⤷ Total: 1.2 ETH · Avg MC $1.4M · 0%💎 Smart-Money-3 · 0.6 ETH · MC $1.5M ⤷ Total: 0.6 ETH · Avg MC $1.5M · 100%
Dexscreener · DexTools · EtherscanEach wallet shows:
- Holding emoji: 💎 still 100% holding, 📉 partially sold, 🔻 fully exited
- Latest buy size in native currency
- Latest buy market cap
- Cumulative summary: total spent, average market cap across all buys, current holding percentage
The holding percentages are pulled at alert time from each wallet’s actual on-chain position, not assumed.
There’s an older Style 1 (more compact, less detail per wallet) — switch in the dashboard if you prefer. Most users keep Style 2.
Trading-link customization for clusters
Section titled “Trading-link customization for clusters”The trading links shown at the bottom of cluster alerts are separately configurable from regular alerts. You can have GMGN + Photon on individual buys and only Dexscreener + Etherscan on clusters, or vice-versa. EVM and Solana cluster links are independent settings.
Group clusters
Section titled “Group clusters”A linked group has its own cluster settings — separate from your personal ones, separate from the master. Group clusters fire when N+ wallets within that group buy the same token. Only group members in the group chat see the alert.
If you’re tracking the same wallet privately and in a group, you’ll see both legs — a personal cluster alert if the threshold hits in your private list, and a group cluster alert if the threshold hits in the group. There’s no de-duplication between contexts. (If that’s noisy for you, set clusters_only mode on whichever side is duplicating the most.)
Tuning recommendations
Section titled “Tuning recommendations”Some practical patterns:
| You track… | Try |
|---|---|
| < 20 wallets | Min 2, window 24 h, mode both |
| 20–100 wallets | Min 3, window 6 h, mode both |
| 100+ wallets, lots of activity | Min 4, window 2 h, mode clusters_only |
| Solana memecoin focus | Min 2, window 30 min (the Solana setting) — fast plays move quickly |
